Oh man, I haven't played DDR in like, 3 years, and last night I busted out the old dance pad and got my roommate playing for her first time. Somehow, the songs were a lot easier after taking a few shots, and somehow I didn't break any furniture (or myself) in the process, haha.
I used to be pretty good, though. Currently, I'm in the middle zone between light and standard (more so light because I live on the top floor...I don't want the people below getting angry with me, heh), but eventually I'll build myself back up to heavy. There's just something about jumping around like an idiot that's so much fun ;)
I have one week of classes left, and then finals week. I am very excited to have this semester over and done with, but at the same time, I'm dreading finals. Too bad I can't just skip to winter break.
Studying for tests isn't hard, though. Actually, that's the easy part. It's just finishing my animation project, metals project, and writing an essay for my art history class that I'm concerned about. It's hard to motivate yourself when you just don't want to do any of it.
Fic-wise, I'm trying to jump between Black Cat and Furuba, but it's hard trying to write for two completely different series at the same time. I'm really itching to write a oneshot for Fruits Basket, but I don't have any ideas yet. I've been fixing God's Menagerie, but wow, does it need a lot of work. I'm thinking about finding a beta reader for that story...
So if anyone wants a crack at it, PM me or something, and I'll love you forever <3
I have a rough draft for my second chapter for Of Books and Black Cats...I just need to go in and revise, but I'm having a little trouble with it (I blame thinking about Kyo while trying to write Train's character - NOT good)
Did I mention I'm really slow when it comes to writing/updating? Heh...
